COVER | UNCOVER
Stilling presented Cover / Uncover, an exhibition created in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary arts and design duo Hvass&Hannibal. The exhibition explored layers, transparency and movement within the tension between the visible and the hidden – between private and public.
With the curtain design as both a functional element and a sensory object, the setting unfolds into a spatial experience where textiles, colours and forms create shifting impressions depending on perspective, light and movement.
TEXTILE INSTALLATIONS
The Stilling Studio showroom in Bredgade 22, Copenhagen was transformed into a living universe of textile installations, curtain tracks, furniture and artistic interventions, where spaces emerge, dissolve and reappear in a carefully balanced interplay between calm and visual curiosity.
Cover / Uncover invited visitors to experience curtain design in new ways: as a means of creating privacy, transition, atmosphere and architectural expression.
UNIQUE UNIVERSES
With our new Bistro Collection as its starting point, the exhibition brought the slim and elegant café rods into play alongside beautiful textile artworks created by the design duo Hvass&Hannibal.
The exhibition also featured our popular AP 1100, CURTAINLIGHT™ and AP 0689, presented in carefully balanced colours that harmonised with the colour palette and motifs of the two textile artworks.
HVASS&HANNIBAL
Hvass&Hannibal was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Nan Na Hvass & Sofie Hannibal, while attending the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Design. The studio works with graphic design solutions, illustration, identity design, textiles, printmaking, interior and more. The two have received several awards, held jury positions in a range of competitions, as well as given talks and workshops at conferences and educational institutions in Asia and across Europe.

From the beginning, the design duo has pushed the boundaries of graphic design, illustration and art direction. Hvass&Hannibal creates distinctive visual universes and unique concepts, and we are delighted about the collaboration between Hvass&Hannibal, Stilling and Hammel for 3daysofdesign 2026

Together with our dealers and partners, Stilling took part in projects for 3daysofdesign 2026 across Copenhagen.
We created a “Star Map”, giving you an overview of some showrooms and exhibitions featuring Stilling curtain tracks.
