SHOWROOM AND SPECIAL EXHIBITION
During the 3daysofdesign 2023 festival, we opened the doors to our new showroom, Stilling Studio in Bredgade 22, Copenhagen, for the first time.
Visitors could experience the special exhibition “INTO THE CLOUDS”, created in collaboration between Stilling and the German interior brand blomus with beautiful fabrics from Danish Kvadrat.
With floating wave curtains on AP 1121 and AP 1905 Piet Hein tracks in custom lacquered colours, we tried to create a feeling of stepping into the clouds – and to make our guests look up.

In collaboration with blomus, we created the special exhibition “Into the Clouds”, which showed how interior design can inspire and create changing expressions, just as clouds drifting across the sky.
WALKING IN THE CLOUDS
Stylist Marie Graunbøl curated the exhibition as a unique exploration of the interaction between form and function. With sheer, white curtains and sky blue curtain tracks and furniture, “INTO THE CLOUDS” speaks of a design philosophy that embraces simplicity, sensitivity and an uncompromising approach to colour, shape and materials.
STUDIO PARTNERS
With “INTO THE CLOUDS” our studio partner blomus showcased selected products from their new collections, including newly launched furniture designed by Japanese Kazushige Miyake and German kaschkasch. Another studio partner was Kvadrat, whose stunning textiles appeared both as curtains and on the soft furniture.
NEW WIRE SUSPENSION
Our new wire suspension for AP 5001, AP 9001 and AP 1905 Piet Hein made its debut during the exhibition in Stilling Studio. The suspension is available in two lengths of adjustable wire, on 2 and 5 meters and is a supplement to our regular ceiling supports.
CHANGING EXIHIBITIONS
Stilling Studio will both function as a regular showroom and will be showcasing changing designs. “INTO THE CLOUDS” was created specifically for 3daysofdesign, but blomus and Kvadrat continued as exhibition partners until October, and we are working on new collaborations. We have also invited the social economy company “I Tråd med Verden” to show their products as a regular part of our exhibition.
