In 2021, Stilling proudly participated in Copenhagen’s major design event, 3daysofdesign. We had the honour of exhibiting at the National Museum’s historic building, the Lapidarium of Kings, as part of the DDcated design hub.
Alongside 50 distinguished Danish design brands, we aimed to inspire visitors with a blend of cutting-edge interior design set against a backdrop of beautiful, historic surroundings.
THE SUPER ELLIPSE TRACK
The Lapidarium of Kings, adorned with stunning stone sculptures from the historic royal castle gardens, provided a majestic setting for our exhibition. It was with this beautiful backdrop that we showcaed our groundbreaking AP 1905 curtain track – the first ever to feature a built-in LED groove.

FUNKTIONAL ELEGANCE
Our ‘AP 1905 curtain track’ is a true celebration of heritage design principles fused with modern technology. Inspired by the mathematical formula of the Superellipse®, this curtain track boasts a remarkably cohesive aesthetic, characterized by a meticulous focus on materiality, proportion, and color. The harmonious geometric figure tells the tale of a design icon, Piet Hein, and his enduring legacy.
HOTEL CURTAINS
At the event, we showcased the AP 1905 track in a sleek black (Midnight) finish, paired with a rich brown dense velvet curtain. This setup embodied a sophisticated hotel style, complemented by an AP 0520 track behind it with sheer white curtains. The layered effect added depth and elegance to the display, demonstrating the versatility of our curtain track systems.
CREATIVE ROOM DIVIDERS
We also introduced a custom-coloured Coastal Blue AP 5001 track, used to support a sheer blue curtain. This setup served as a stylish room divider, creating a serene meeting space away from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition. The track was custom-curved in a giant S-shape and hung low on blue ceiling supports, transforming it into a decorative element that enhanced the overall ambiance of the space.
THE HORISONT ™COLLECTION
In front of the beautiful roomdivider we presented our decorative rods and rails collection, HORISONT. This collection expands our offerings, providing elegant and functional solutions for various interior design needs.
CURTAIN DESIGN AROUND TOWN
We participated at 3daysofdesign as a part of DDcated designhub. But we were also lucky to have a plethora of talented business partners with showrooms and exhibitions all over Copenhagen, featuring our curtain tracks. Vi visited some of these with photographer Pernille Greve.
